Overview
Established 1996 | World Beer Cup Champion 2014
When we opened the doors to our beach town brew pub on Coronado Island in 1996, we wanted it to be the kind of place where friends could enjoy great beer, a good meal and a laid- back atmosphere.
Now, years later, our brewery’s a lot bigger and we’ve got a number of awards. But we’re still following that same dream: brewing exceptionally balanced beer that’s authentically inspired by our West Coast roots. And offering that experience to an ever-growing family that seeks an undeniable coastal vibe, and shares our passion for great beer.
Welcome to Coronado Brewing Company. A Coastal Calling.
Coronado Brewing Company (CBC), a trailblazing San Diego-based craft brewery renowned for its inventive West Coast ales, is thrilled to introduce its latest Double IPA masterpiece to the world: BIG Weekend.
Salty Crew Blonde Ale is well on its way to becoming the premier blonde ale in California. The partnership, uniting two iconic San Diego brands, Coronado Brewing and Salty Crew, has blossomed from a small-batch draft collaboration to one of the hottest beer brands in the entire state.
Coronado Brewing and Societe Brewing, two of San Diego’s most beloved breweries, have teamed up to create The Mariner, a West Coast Double IPA brewed with El Dorado, Simcoe, and Citra hops.
Coronado Brewing Company (CBC), the award-winning San Diego craft brewery, announced several considerable product launches slated for early 2023. New offerings include a Japanese Lager, larger package size of its acclaimed Salty Crew Blonde Ale, and a seasonal series of hazy IPAs.
Starting in December, Stone Distributing will once again sell San Diego-headquartered Coronado Brewing Company’s portfolio of brands in Southern California, after several years apart.
If one word had to be chosen to embody the past few years for the beer industry, “pivot” would be a strong contender. And pivot is what San Diego’s Coronado Brewing has done with its newest brand, Coronado Hard Cider.
After years of research and development, Coronado Brewing Company, a pioneering craft brewery from San Diego, Calif., is introducing a one-of-a-kind brand extension via Coronado Hard Cider.
Hot on the heels of a huge gold medal win at the Great American Beer Festival, Coronado Brewing Company announces the launch of the company’s newest year-round offering, Palm Sway Island-Style IPA.
FIFCO USA has appointed former Molson Coors executive Dan Hennessy as its new chief sales officer, effective February 8. Meanwhile, San Diego hard kombucha maker JuneShine has hired former Stone Brewing VP of sales Todd Karnig as chief commercial officer. And the Brewers of Pennsylvania (BOP) has appointed Adam Harris as executive director of the state guild.
Over the last year, Coronado Brewing Company has been hard at work, developing and perfecting the recipes behind the company’s first packaged beyond-beer beverage offering. Local patrons who frequent Coronado’s three San Diego Tasting Rooms have had the opportunity to test the R&D seltzers over the past few months on draft and share their opinions. Utilizing feedback from customers and the Coronado brew team, the company landed on three flavors to launch its 12oz citrus variety 12-pack, including Tangerine & Peach, Ginger & Lime, and Strawberry Lemonade.
Coronado Brewing Company kicks off its loaded 2021 release schedule with a brand-new innovative ale, Orange Avenue Shandy. Fans of Coronado Brewing will recognize the ode to the company’s original Orange Ave Wit; however, this Shandy is anything but classic. It’s a super juicy, tart-with-a-hint-of-sweet Shandy that is the perfect value addition to an already stacked 2021 Coronado Brewing lineup.
Coronado Brewing Company and Maui Brewing Company teamed up to brew one of the hottest new styles in craft beer. The Island-Style IPA, semi-recently coined in the craft beer world, is an IPA that captures the elements of a hazy IPA (i.e. tropical, juicy), but finishes clear, bright and crisp from the use of Cal Ale yeast.
