LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (March 16, 2026) Tennessee Brew Works, the Tennessee-based craft brewery with locations in Nashville, BNA Airport, and soon Lenoir City, will usher in spring with the inaugural Snail Darter Fest on April 25 at its new Lenoir City location, 200 East Depot Street. A portion of beer sales from this event will benefit the Kids First Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of the Ninth Judicial District serving Loudon, Meigs, Morgan, and Roane Counties.

Free and open to the public, this all-day celebration will feature more than 800 pounds of fresh Gulf shrimp served with all the traditional fixings of a classic Low Country boil. Guests can also enjoy a dynamic lineup of live music curated by the legendary Mike Grimey Grimes, highlighted by headliner Greasy Chicken Review.

To further celebrate the day and benefit the Kids First Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of the Ninth Judicial District, Tennessee Brew Works will exclusively release the limited Snail Darter Ale at the festival in draft and 12 oz. 6-pack and 24-pack cases to go.

SNAIL DARTER ALE, English Style Amber (ESB). Description: This English-style amber ale (5.2% ABV, 30 IBUs) showcases a beautifully layered malt profile, opening with delicate aromas of apricot and plum. On the palate, those subtle fruit notes unfold into a harmonious depth of caramel and toffee, delivering a smooth, refined finish that is both balanced and inviting.

Snail Darter Fest will take place rain or shine on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free, with ample seating available. Parking is plentiful; however, guests are encouraged to use ride-share services when possible. Snail Darter Ale will be available exclusively at the Tennessee Brew Works Lenoir City, Tenn. location while supplies last, limited to one case per customer.

ABOUT TENNESSEE BREW WORKS

Tennessee Brew Works is an award-winning, independently owned and operated craft brewery that opened in 2013 with a mission to create high-quality craft beer that pays homage to the land, traditions, and culture of Tennessee. We have locations in Nashville, BNA Int'l Airport (Terminals A & B Rotunda), and coming soon to Lenoir City, Tennessee.

We proudly introduced the states first commercially produced all-Tennessee grain beers in 2018 with the Tenn Department of Agriculture. Many will recognize us by our popular Hippies & Cowboys, Tennessees favorite IPA. Also, our State Park Blonde Ale is the official beer of the Tenn State Parks, brewed with Tennessee-farm sourced ingredients and benefits the Tenn State Parks Conservancy for the preservation of our parks.

Tennessee Brew Works brews beer with integrity, using only quality natural ingredients, and sources them from local farms whenever possible. We cater to those who appreciate the difference. We are owned and operated by folks in Tennessee. Our motto: We work hard to create high-quality craft beer that makes Tennessee proud. Our culture places importance on family, friends, and community, and we hope youll be a part of it. To learn more, visit Tennessee Brew Works at tnbrew.com.

ABOUT THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER (CAC) OF THE NINTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT SERVING LOUDON, MEIGS, MORGAN, AND ROANE COUNTIES

Child Advocacy Centers offer a child-friendly, neutral setting for child abuse victims. As a trauma-informed agency, we ensure our environment is welcoming, calming, and meets the needs of child abuse victims within our playrooms, waiting area, and throughout the office. CACs minimize the number of times a child victim has to be interviewed and how many times a victim of child abuse must share his or her story. By bringing together our investigative partners, the child tells his/her story of abuse while those involved in the investigation watch and listen through a closed-circuit television (all interviews are recorded). Forensic Interviewers are specialized and trained to understand child development, the process of disclosure, and recantation. By providing the Forensic Interview through the CAC, the child is less likely to be retraumatized, and studies show the investigation is more successful. Our CAC is an accredited member of the National Children's Alliance and has demonstrated the ability to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed, consistent services that are effective and efficient, putting the needs of child abuse victims first.

Since opening the Center, we have received over 10,500 referrals from the Department of Childrens Services and law enforcement and served more than 8,500 victims of child abuse and their non-offending family members. Our services to child abuse victims include Forensic Interviewing, Forensic Medical Examinations, Therapy, Advocacy and Accompaniment, Court Prep, and Group Sessions. We have since added a school-based intervention/prevention program, Stop Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN), to more than 100 schools and 55,000 children attending kindergarten, first, third, fifth, and seventh grades. To learn more, visit CAC of the Ninth Judicial District at kidsfirsttn.org.
