Novato, CA — Moylan’s Brewery is proud to announce their recent bronze medal win at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival, which took place in Denver last week. The Bay Area brewery received a bronze medal for their Dragoons Dry Irish Stout in the Dry Irish Stout category. Over 732 breweries from around the world sent in more than 4,809 entries to the premiere international beer competition. A panel of 201 judges from 11 different countries selected the winners.
Moylan’s Brewery has a long history of success at the Great American Beer Festival and to date have accumulated an impressive 6 GABF medals.
Founder Brendan Moylan was ecstatic about the recent wins, commenting, “It is always wonderful to be recognized along with some of the best breweries in the world. Moylan’s Dragoons Dry Irish Stout is a stout brewed in the Irish tradition to commemorate General Stephen Moylan, an Irish-born commander of the 4th Continental Dragoons during the American Revolutionary War. It is available on tap at Moylan’s Brewery and throughout the U.S. by bottle.
