Lagunitas Brewing will expand its distribution deeper into Pennsylvania this week after the nation’s sixth largest craft brewery signed with Ace Distributing.
Beginning Thursday, Lagunitas beers will be available throughout York, Adams, Franklin, and Fulton counties, according to a press release from Ace. The brewery has existing relationships in the state with Frank Fuhrer Wholesale, BeerMart and Origlio Beverage, according to its website.
Nate Fochtman, vice president of craft and business development at Ace, said he was excited to partner with Lagunitas, calling the company a “national craft brewery powerhouse.”
“We strive to recruit and align with brewery partners that are strategically planning and executing for long term future growth,” said Fochtman in a press statement.
In June, Lagunitas opened a massive production facility in Chicago, in part to better serve its markets east of Denver, where, as Brewbound reported at the time, approximately 55 percent of its beer was being sold. Lagunitas’ other markets are still served by its flagship facility in Petaluma, Calif.
