William K. Busch Brewing has announced plans to expand sales of Kräftig throughout Rolla and Springfield, Missouri this February, according to the St. Louis Dispatch. The company has inked deals with Premium Beverage Sales of Springfield and Grellner Sales and Service of Rola for coverage in each respective market, according to the article. “This expansion will result in our beers being sold in every major market other than Kansas City and Hannibal,” founder Billy Busch told the website. “It’s another step toward growing Kräftig into a national brand.”
Braxton Launches with Stagnaro
From Kickstarter to distribution, Braxton Brewing has just named its first wholesale partner after launching the most successful brewery crowdfunding campaign in the website’s history. According to Cincinnati.com, the brewery, which is expected to officially launch this quarter, has partnered with Stagnaro Distributing for coverage in Kentucky and Ohio. “Choosing a distributor is hands-down one of the most important decisions we’ll make as a company,” CEO Jake Rouse said in a press release. “We evaluated the market interviewing several suppliers, and it was clear that Stagnaro’s commitment to customer service, understanding the craft beer category, involvement in the community and appetite for innovation directly align with our goals at Braxton Brewing Company.”
Zipline Hits South Dakota
Nebraska’s Zipline Brewing has partnered with Global Distributing of Sioux Falls for coverage in South Dakota. “South Dakota loves great craft beer, and we are excited to become a foundational part of that scene,” Zipline Co-founder Tom Wilmoth said in a news release. “We couldn’t find better partners than Global, who really know craft. We’re ready to party with our neighbors to the north.” The brewery, which launched in 2012, is already one of the largest in the Nebraska, according to JournalStar.com, producing nearly 8,000 barrels per year.
Bluff City Beer Fleshes Out Portfolio
Bluff City Beer Co., a wholesaler based in Cape Girardeau, Mo., has signed agreements with Cathedral Square Brewing and Leaky Roof Meadery. The company will begin distributing the the new brands throughout its 20-county area next month, according to the Southeast Missourian. In addition to selling a variety of Miller products, the company also distributes craft offerings from the likes of Boulevard, Big Sky Brewing and Mother’s Brewing.
