Bell’s Brewery has announced plans to expand its presence in southern California in early 2015 per a partnership with Craft Brewer’s Guild of Los Angeles, a wing of L. Knife and Son’s national craft wholesale network.
Beginning Feb. 23, all of Bell’s products will be available throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties, depending on their release dates, except for Oberon, which is typically a seasonal but will be sold year-round in Southern Calif.
“We are constantly addressing capacity constraints and building on last May’s initial launch in San Diego,” said Laura Bell, vice president of the brewery, in a news release. “Along with growth at our Comstock brewery, we are able to gradually increase distribution.”
In addition to San Diego, the Michigan brewery has pre-existing distribution in Imperial County.
“Being able to bring our beer a little further north is extremely exciting,” Bell added.
Bell’s footprint now extends over 20 states as well as in Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. In 2013, the company sold 246,000 barrels of beer.
