Angel City Brewery recently made its first foray outside of Southern California, partnering with Bonanza Beverage Company for distribution throughout Las Vegas, Nevada.
Angel City beers, including Pilsner, Social IPA, and West Coast Wheat, are now available on draft and in 6-packs of bottles and cans throughout the city.
Located in Los Angeles, Calif., Angel City is part of Alchemy & Science, the Boston Beer subsidiary company that also operates Traveler Beer Co., Coney Island Brewing, and Concrete Beach Brewery.
“Expanding to Sin City seemed like a natural fit for us,” said Alan Newman, president of Alchemy & Science, in a press statement. “It’s a second city for many Angelenos, and the cultural vibrancy and life mirrors our home turf.”
Bonanza also carries Boston Beer’s flagship brand, Samuel Adams, and products from Angry Orchard, its wholly-owned cider company.
Reached for comment, Newman could not disclose how many barrels of beer Angel City produced in 2014 because Boston Beer does not release individual brand numbers as policy.
