Beverage Sales Manager
About Us
Big Ring Beverages is a beverage incubator and consulting company. We produce a diverse range of beverages, including full-strength beer, non-alcoholic beer, Delta-9 THC beverages, malt-based beverages, and other still and carbonated beverages. To date, all of our products have been produced via third-party contract manufacturers. We are opening a facility in Austin to bring production under one roof.
Job Overview
As the Beverage Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to expand our market presence and increase revenue across our diverse beverage lines. You'll cultivate key customer relationships, and work closely with our production and marketing teams to align sales efforts with our brand vision and production capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for our diverse beverage portfolio, including beers, non-alcoholic beers, Delta-9 THC beverages, and other specialty drinks
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and inform product development
- Collaborate with the production team to align sales forecasts with production capacity and seasonality
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials and promotional strategies for different beverage lines
- Organize and participate in trade shows, beer festivals, and other industry events to promote our products
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Manage sales budgets and expenses to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant alcohol beverage laws and regulations in sales practices
- Contribute to new product development by providing market insights and customer feedback
- Maintain our CRM system to track customer interactions and sales pipeline
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage sales, personally managing annual sales of at least 20,000 case equivalents
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the craft beverage or related industry
- In-depth knowledge of the craft beverage market, including beer, NA, and emerging beverage trends
- Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system and alcohol beverage regulations
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with distributors and key accounts
- Proficiency in using CRM software and analyzing sales data
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the sales territory

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with selling a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic craft beverages
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairing to enhance sales strategies
- Familiarity with local and regional craft beverage scenes
We Offer
- $60,000 base salary
- Guaranteed salary increase of 3% every 6 months
- Quarterly bonus equal to $1 per case equivalent sold
- 10 days paid time off as well as holidays. Additional PTO to be added annually.
- Opportunity for annual bonus (requires presentation to leadership)
- Additional Benefit package to be negotiated during the hiring process
