Twelve Percent is a premier craft brewery and distribution company selling a carefully curated portfolio of top beer brands throughout the United States. The National Key Account Manager will work to grow the Twelve Percent family of brands nationally and regionally in on- and off-premise chain accounts. The position is responsible for developing account relationships, achieving business objectives (via increased sales, expanded distribution, etc.), and managing the communication and administration function related to pricing, new items authorizations, display execution and promotions for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Call on buyers at national and regional on- and off-premise chain accounts to build the Twelve Percent brand-family business in each account.
- Increase Twelve Percent brand-family sales by expanding distribution, increasing placements, and securing brand promotions in chain accounts.
- Manage all relevant price, product setup, vendor setup, and other pertinent information within key accounts.
- Work with Twelve Percent sales teams and distributors to execute plans in key accounts.
- Plan and aid in facilitating promotions/events in accounts on a regular basis.
- Develop annual business plans with all assigned accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience selling products to regional and/or national chain accounts.
- Strong existing relationships with buyers in multiple regional and/or national chain accounts.
- Extensive understanding of the craft beer industry, products, competitors and pricing strategies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work independently.
