Nueces Brewing Co is located in the heart of downtown Corpus Christi. Voted best brewery in the Coastal Bend 5 years in a row and now best barbeque! We are driven with a passion for crafting exceptional beers and barbeque!  We boast a magnificently large taproom with a mix of flagship and rotating beers.

Job Qualifications:

4+ years industry experience with at least 2+ years in a brewing role

Strong technical brewing background

Attention to detail

Passional for craft beer, process improvement and product quality

Exceptional problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

High level of craft beer product knowledge.

Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.

Positive Attitude and leadership skills

Must be mechanically skilled and able to diagnose, fix and maintain a multitude of brewing equipment.

Responsibilities:

Expected to follow all standard operating procedures while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and quality

Operate 15 bbl 3 vessel brewhouse

Lead in-house canning line operation on Cask ACS5V4

Involved in all areas of brewing beer (brewhouse and cellar), including, but not limited to, milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling, and transferring processes

Identify and optimize bottlenecks in the brewing forecast & schedule

Works well with other team members and is an active member of the production team

Educates beertenders on beer/tasting and fosters a culture of learning

Performs regular maintenance of production equipment

Expected to create and maintain a safe working environment

Monitor gravities, temperatures, and carbonations daily

Monitor, pitch, and harvest yeast

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time

Inventory of raw materials and brewing chemicals

Create new, exciting recipes on a regular basis

Brews core brands with exceptional consistency

Maintain high levels of cleanliness in brewhouse, warehouse and cooler

Consistently provide feedback and efficiencies on brewing processes

Ensure culture and attitudes align with Nueces Brewing Co
