CMC is hiring a Regional Business Manager (RBM) for the Northeast Region


Job Title: Regional Business Manager - Northeast Region

Job Description:

The CMC RBM position has 3-primary focuses:


  • Team member execution— Requires on-boarding new representatives and supplier partners, as well as developing active business partnerships and representatives through constant awareness of quantitative data and qualitative information (full context). 


  • Maintenance of supplier relationships—Executed by establishing a direct line of communication with our supplier partners and their wholesaler partners. CMC RBMs provide monthly business reviews to ensure CMC is serving in excellence. An RBM is required to maintain a working knowledge of a supplier’s goals, CMC sales data, pain points, sales strategies and tactics, product and pricing information, wholesaler information, etc.


  • Driving the culture train—Continually developing team members to become the best version of themselves and building safety and trust within the team. Critical aspects of the job include: giving and receiving real-time feedback, helping provide sales direction for maximum sales execution and focus, and communicating “the why” behind CMC company decisions and our strategic direction.


A CMC RBM may manage up to 40 supplier partners and 10 team members. RBMs are expected to have an excellent understanding of all CMC Services to help grow CMC and to help serve our supplier and distributor partners. Expect fast-paced working conditions, the ability to adapt to a changing environment and quickly grasp improvements to our current systems and processes, direct and real-time feedback. 


Requirements: 

  • Must be able to interpret and evaluate data.
  • Must be able to use all available qualitative and quantitative information to develop strategic sales and leadership direction.
  • A comprehensive understanding of how to lead a team and manage different personalities internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated experience providing difficult feedback and/or handling difficult conversations with team members and supplier partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the appropriate level of coaching, development, and reprimand up to and including termination
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of VIP KARMA and CMC’s specific uses of the platform. 
  • Demonstrated ability to sell goods and services in a competitive environment.
  • Must be excellent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Concur platform and CMC expense reporting standards of conduct.
  • Willingness to pivot and adapt to continuous changes and updates.
  • Proven ability to positively manage major and minor changes and quickly adapt to said changes or procedural updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and approach problems in a solution-oriented manner.
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Drive.
  • Ability to maintain emotional control and demonstrate exceptional self-awareness.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot common and uncommon obstacles through ingenuity, creative and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to expertly manage time including professional workload and calendar.
  • Experience in public speaking with demonstrated experience leading sales calls, team training, and conducting interviews.
  • Experience conducting interviews and recruiting top-sales talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A history of top-performing sales success and fostering long-lasting professional relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance


Nice to have:

  • An understanding of VIP iDIG
  • Comprehension of the Admin tools in VIP KAMRA is a plus.
  • Examples of aesthetically pleasing PowerPoints, Word Docs, or Excel Docs.
  • Current/Previous distributor experience as a brand manager is a plus
