Kills Boro Brewing Company seeks a dynamic Sales Representative to manage sales and business development in Brooklyn and Queens. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with accounts, driving sales growth, and expanding distribution within the territory. The Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact, representing the company at events and festivals, and working closely with the management team. Flexibility in workdays and hours, including weekends and nights, is required. Candidates should have proven sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for craft beer.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Dedicated focus on promoting our diverse product range to off-premise and on-premise retail outlets 
  • Conduct a minimum of 40 account sales visits weekly, nurturing existing relationships while securing new distribution opportunities 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the sales manager within a 60-day timeframe 
  • Provide detailed weekly sales reports highlighting new placements, promotional displays, and other sales initiatives 
  • Organize and execute engaging event activations like tastings, samplings, and festivals to enhance brand visibility 
  • Enhance retail environments through strategic merchandising efforts such as building displays, cooler resets, and point-of-sale installations 
  • Utilize tools like VIP KARMA and VIP iDIG to track progress and measure success against established programming 
  • Regular travel within the market to service accounts and liaise with distributors, with occasional travel for meetings and trainings 
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed to support business demands 


Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 21 years old 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Minimum one to two years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, ideally with distributor experience.
  • Possess a competitive edge with a confident, assertive demeanor 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and VIP iDIG 
  • Ability to operate within expense and budget guidelines 
  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to continuously commute between accounts 
  • Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) 
  • Capable of lifting up to two, 16oz Cases of Cans and comfortable with physical tasks such as product handling, climbing, kneeling, and reaching overhead. The role requires frequent standing and walking.
