Brew Talks Travels to NBWA:
Industry Networking & Business Discussions on October 6
Dogfish Head and Keg Logistics present Brew Talks, Brewbound's industry meetup. The event series give brewery executives, distributors, retailers and professionals who are already attending major industry gatherings an opportunity to network and engage in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry.
The Brewbound team will travel to NBWA's Annual Convention in Orlando, FL and host a Brew Talks meetup on Tuesday, October 6th. Attendees must register to attend Brew Talks. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Florida Brewers Guild.

Sam Calagione is the founder and CEO of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware and Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He also owns the Dogfish Inn in Lewes, Delaware. Sam is a 2016 James Beard Award recipient was named one of Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business. The Wall Street Journal has called Sam "a Pioneer of bizarre brews."

Garrett co-founded Maui Brewing Company in 2005 and has made it a successful Regional Craft Brewery and Hawaii’s Largest Craft Brewer. Under his leadership, Maui Brewing Company has grown from a seven-barrel brewpub with 32 employees producing 320 barrels of beer in 2005, to a pub and brewery with over 400 employees on pace to produce nearly 53,000 barrels of beer in 2017. In the ten years since opening, revenues have grown from $1.8M in 2005 to $18M in 2017. Garrett has led numerous legislative initiatives succeeding in changing laws to better support the growing craft industry in Hawaii. In 2014 Garrett also co-founded Maui Stone Craft Beverages, a joint venture between Maui Brewing Company and Stone Brewing Co. in order to distribute craft beers across the State. Garrett holds a BA in Economics, a BA in International Relations, and an AA in Finance. He is passionate about craft beer, food, and Hawaii. Garrett is a Board Member of the Hawaii Small Business Development Center for the SBA, Vice President and Founding Member of the Hawaiian Craft Brewers Guild, and sits on the Government Affairs Committee of the Brewers Association representing Hawaii at the Federal level.

Natalie Gershon is the vice president of marketing for Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, MO. In this role, Natalie oversees the creative, consumer and trade marketing initiatives for Boulevard. Before joining the organization, Natalie spent the prior fifteen years in Los Angeles, working primarily in natural and organic CPG where she lead the marketing team at Zevia, disrupting traditional CSD, and Dogswell, the innovator of functional pet food. Natalie was thrilled to return to her hometown, and join the Boulevard team, a brand with unparalleled respect in Kansas City.

Matt Fraser joined the CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective as Chief Financial Officer in July 2015 after spending eight years at Lazard Freres in its middle market advisory group where he advised Dale Katechis on his partnership with Fireman Capital. As CFO of CANarchy, Matt lead all financial matters in collaboration with CANarchy brewery executives including financial reporting and analysis, forecasting and overall budget management. Matt was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in January 2018 and in May 2018 his role expanded to President of the collective. As President and COO of CANarchy, Fraser leads all business operations in collaboration with the brewery partners and founders across the portfolio of craft breweries, including Cigar City Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewery, Perrin Brewing, Squatters Craft Beer and Wasatch Brewery, Deep Ellum Brewing Company and Three Weavers Brewing. Fraser earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He resides in Chicago with his wife, Jennifer and two daughters.

In 2012 she began developing the beer she wanted to see in the world, and as fellow runners and endurance athletes rapidly drove demand, she launched Sufferfest Beer Company in Spring 2016. Based in San Francisco and a Certified B Corporation, Sufferfest inspires active, healthy and passionate humans with award-winning, purpose-brewed craft beer. As the company's Founder and CEO, Caitlin brings 14 years of consumer marketing experience to the company, with prior positions including Director of Marketing at Strava — a social network for athletes. Three successful years into business, Sufferfest was fully acquired by Chico-based Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Spring 2019. Adam has been brewing regular kombucha for over a decade and began brewing for retail sale at his own restaurant in 2011. His restaurant, Local Habit, was one of the first restaurants in the country to offer kombucha on tap. Adam is currently the Chief Marketing Officer and resident Stunt Man at Boochcraft. His biggest goal is to make a difference in the communities and for the people where Boochcraft has an impact, like the Farm to Families program created in tandem with Wild Willow Farm just a couple miles from the brewery. Adam’s passions include acroyoga, surfing, organic gardening, and cooking.

Adam Lambert is the chief revenue officer at BrewDog USA. Throughout his 23-year career, Adam has learned just about every angle of the beverage industry, starting out as a grocery store liquor clerk to his current role at BrewDog. Prior to joining BrewDog, Adam served for two years as the COO for Storied Craft Breweries, participating and evaluating M&A in all beverage categories. Previous roles include vice president of Sales for Virtue Cider -- part of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s High End group -- VP of Sales for New Holland Brewery and Distillery, seven years’ as vice president of sales for Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, and six years as national sales and marketing manager for Rogue Ales. Past experiences include owning a wine distribution and brokerage company, managing the west coast as a brewery brand manager for SLO Brewing Company, and sales rep for Wine Warehouse. Adam has been a member of the Independent Council on 3-Tier Dynamics and long serving member of the Brewers Association Export Development Committee. He has been a featured presenter at the Craft Brewers Conference, Brewbound Live and Brew Talks events, Beverage Trade Network, and the Bar and Night Club Show. Adam is a proud graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
