Rare Beer Fest Returns to Rhinegeist!
CINCINNATI, OH—Rare Beer Fest, a festival honoring rare and extraordinary brews from near and far, is returning to the Rhinegeist Taproom on Saturday, October 29th! If you've been craving rare and hard-to-get brews or just missing those good, old-fashioned "holy sh%# that's tasty!" beer festival vibes, get your crew together and head to the taproom for some bonafide Brew Eureka moments with over 50 of the most sensational breweries from across the country. Tickets go on sale on 9/16 and will likely sell out fast.
Initiated in 2017, Rare Beer Fest is a way to bring all of the amazing innovation going on in the craft beer world to Cincinnati and put it on display in the Rhinegeist Taproom. The inaugural Rare Beer Fest was a huge success, and the festival has only grown more popular in subsequent years. While rare and sought-after offerings from breweries not normally accessible to the Ohio market make RBF a valuable event for the Queen City beer community, this year's festival is especially important, as it is the first full-scale Rare Beer Fest since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
This year's festival includes two sessions: the first session will take place from 12pm-4pm, and the second session will take place from 5pm-9pm. Thunderdome Restaurant Group [thunderdomerestaurants.com] will be providing food for the event. VIP tickets include a tasting glass and twelve tasting tickets as well as food, RBF branded t-shirt, tote, commemorative glass, and access to 5 additional breweries in the designated VIP area. General Admission tickets include a RBF-branded tasting glass, tote, and twelve tickets good for samples from participating breweries.
"We're very excited for the return of a full-scale Rare Beer Fest," says Jon Colusard, General Manager of the Rhinegeist taproom. "We've had some exciting breweries on our invite list for the past few years, and we're finally at the point where we can make it happen. We have over 50 fantastic breweries lined up, including ten locals. We're really excited to be able to get together with our friends and colleagues and host a high-caliber, beer-focused event in the taproom again!"
