8/17/2022 -- Crooked Brewery Announces Newest Seeker Series Beer, Deep C’s Double IPA

Deep C’s will be released on August 17 at all 3 locations during a First Pour and Pig Roast.

Crooked Hammock Brewery is excited to announce the debut of Deep C’s, a Double IPA brewed for the craft beer community. This hoppy maelstrom clocks in at 8.5% ABV and is generously packed with Centennial hops in the kettle, then hit with a double dry-hop dose of Citra. Deep C’s will be released on August 17 at all three brewery locations — Lewes, DE; Middletown, DE; and Myrtle Beach, SC — during a First Pour and Pig Roast Party that runs from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

In addition, the brewery will host an exclusive pre-sale and social media giveaway on August 10. Thirty lucky fans — 10 people for each Crooked Hammock location — will have the opportunity to win cool merchandise and gain VIP access to fresh releases. The “Brewer’s Pig” will highlight an epic night of brewery and industry collaboration, which offers all brewers in attendance the first crack at “picking” at a crispy suckling pig roasting on a rotating beach spit.

The event is free and open to the public, although the party’s theme will focus on celebrating the craft beer community. That means meet-and-greets with favorite Crooked Hammock brewers, as well as high-profile peer brewers from the proud states of Delaware and South Carolina.

“We’re going back to the basics for a beer-centric release party that relies more on community and celebrating our brewers, and less on spectacle,” says Crooked Hammock owner Rich Garrahan. “We love our brewers and want them to feel loved; and that appreciation extends to every hard-working brewer punching the clock and manning the kettle.”

Deep C’s is the latest new beer for 2022 in Crooked Hammock’s limited-edition Seeker Series which tugs at the outer reaches of our taste buds. These “yonder beers” challenge both brewer and drinker to test their comfort zone: sometimes stronger, always bolder and prone to cult followings. This marks the latest in Crooked Hammock’s ongoing Seeker Series of adventurous beers, following in the footsteps of previous releases such as Banana Hammock, Dadventure, and Shark Party.
