9/30/2022 -- Crooked Brewery Announces Crooktoberfest 2022, a 10-Day Celebration of Fall

Crooktoberfest is a “twisted version of Bavaria” running from from September 30 through October 9.

Crooked Hammock Brewery is bringing a “twisted version of Bavaria” to their backyard for the fall festival to end all fall festivals: Crooktoberfest, a 10-day celebration running from September 30 through October 9. The not-too-serious festival shines a spotlight on bier, brats, feats of strength, and all the frivolous fun that has turned Crooked Hammock into Delaware’s go-to brewery for good times and relaxed vibes.

One major highlight of Crooktoberfest 2022 will be the anointing of our first-ever Festmaster, a well-dressed and loud-speaking ambassador for merrymaking. The most honorable will ring in the festivities with a toast and preside over a Stein Holding Competition. Prizes and state-wide bragging rights will be on the line, backed by the bright, tinny sounds of a boisterous brass band.

The event will feature a German-inspired food menu from Chef Ted Deptula (with sourcing from Pennsylvania Dutch butchering legends S. Clyde Weaver;), along with the tapping of the freshest Märzen beer this side of Munich. Special German menu is available all day, every day throughout the festival. Everything kicks off on Friday, September 30 at 12 noon at the Lewes (click here) and Middletown (click here) brewpubs.
