Join us in celebrating the 2022 Craft Your Own Big Beers Celebration with the release of our Oort Imperial Stout, Barrel-Aged Oort Imperial Stout, and Barrel-Aged Linzer Torte Oort Imperial Stout! Both our Mothership and Moon Room locations will be featuring a special taster tray, and raising a glass to big beers! Love one of the Oorts on the taster tray? All variants will be available to take home in either 16oz cans or 500 ml bottles (bottles of Barrel Aged Linzer Torte Oort Imperial Stout will be available 1/18)!

About This Taster Tray:
Two recommendations from the 2022 Craft Your Own Big Beers Celebration are to taste a variety of different beers together, and to celebrate a special limited release. We're doing both! Enjoy the following beers on our limited-edition taster tray:

- 2022 Barrel-Aged Oort Imperial Stout
- 2022 Barrel-Aged Linzer Torte Oort Imperial Stout
- 2021 Oort Imperial Stout Linzer Torte Edition

About these beers:
- Oort Imperial Stout: Massive amounts of roasted barley and chocolate malts were combined with three types of caramel malts for a rich, full mouthfeel. Chinook, Cascade and Sterling hops lend a balanced bitterness and subtle hop flavor to this brew that’s as black as the vacuum of space. 9% ABV
- Barrel-Aged Oort Imperial Stout: This traditional version slumbered for 12 months in Bull Run bourbon barrels, imparting notes of rich chocolate, vanilla and oak. 11% ABV
- Barrel-Aged Linzer Torte Oort Imperial Stout: This variant of barrel-aged Oort Imperial Stout ale is a special edition for 2022. We started with our Oort Linzer Torte Edition--which added real raspberries, lemon zest, cinnamon, cloves and hazelnuts--and then barrel-aged it in Bull Run bourbon barrels for 12 months. The result is a rich, chocolate, raspberry celebration of darkness. 11% ABV
- Oort Imperial Stout Linzer Torte Edition: This variant of Oort Imperial Stout ale is a special edition for 2021. We took our classic Oort recipe and baked in extra flavors of real raspberries, lemon zest, cinnamon, cloves and hazelnuts, creating a twist on the fruity & nutty flavors of an Austrian Linzer Torte pastry. 9% ABV
