3/13/2021 -- St Patrick's Day 5K/10K - Will Run for Beer

St. Patrick's Day Walk/Run 5k & 10k, beginning & ending at Good News, with a free Green Beer.

Join us on Saturday, March 13 for the inaugural Defiance St. Patrick's Day Festival! The day will kick-off with a St. Patrick's Day Walk/Run 5k and 10k on the Katy Trail, beginning and ending at Good News Brewing Company with a Green Beer.

Stick around after the run for the first-ever Defiance St. Patrick’s Day Parade, beginning in Downtown Defiance at noon. The parade will be led by the St. Charles County Police Color Guard with traditional bag pipes. Participants of the run/walk who are 21+ will receive a Defiance Passport to enjoy a free adult beverage at participating local venues. Please note, there is no swag for this run except for beer, wine, and vodka (we kinda think that is better than a t-shirt you will probably not wear again or a medal that you really didn't win) ??

Following the parade, stick around town for live music from Teddy McCready & Scott Logan at the town square. In addition, we will have vendors, food, drinks, live music and more from our local businesses! Later in the day come back to the brewery for more music from Calvert and Williams. Parking is limited at Good News Brewing so arrive early or park at the corner bars and walk to the brewery. Registration/big pickup will start at 8:00am
