Allagash will host a virtual tasting with brewers from around the country to celebrate Saison Day.

For the eighth year, Allagash Brewing Company has declared April 14, Saison Day. Allagash will host a virtual tasting bringing together brewers from around the country to celebrate the historic saison, a style of beer originating in the French-speaking Wallonia region of Belgium. In today’s digital world, the brewery wanted to continue to cultivate the spirit of collaboration and bring together a community of beer lovers virtually this Saison Day.

“The saison style offers brewers the opportunity to experiment with various ingredients and flavors,” said Jason Perkins, Allagash Brewmaster. “Saison Day not only gives us the opportunity to celebrate the diverse selection of saisons brewed today, it’s also a great excuse to gather with friends (virtually, for now) to appreciate Belgian beer culture and tradition.”

Grab your favorite saison and join beer lovers from around the country for an online discussion where seasoned brewers will be sharing their favorite saisons, highlighting their brewery’s latest and upcoming beers and answering any questions from attendees.
