Calling all intergalactic bounty hunters, superheroes, zombies, Trekkies, Hufflepuff’s, anime characters, to stop by our tasting rooms from July 23-25th for a Comic-Con-themed beer release and costume contest. This year we will be celebrating Comic-Con at both our Sorrento Valley Barrel House and our Ocean Beach Tasting Room.

As part of the release, we are offering 18 sour ales, including: “Cherry Potter,” “Pickle Rick,” “Daenerys Tar-Berry-an,” “Mr. Tea,” “Berry Allen,” and “SpongeBob Sour Pants,” and more. For a complete list of beers visit 2021 Comic-Con Beer Lineup

In addition, we are having a Comic-Con costume contest. We encourage you to come by the brewery and have their photos taken or email photos of yourself in costumes for a chance to win Comic-Con swag and beer. No purchase is necessary. One of the best things about Comic-con is the costumes. It’s an art form, and here at California Wild Ales, we are huge fans of all things pop culture. That’s why from July 23 to July 25, we’re giving people the opportunity to wear those costumes proudly

We hope these fun, funky flavors inspire sour beer lovers to put on their cape and believe in their inner superhero. So enjoy a delicious sour beer and join us for our yearly celebration.

All beers are available for on-site pick up at the California Wild Ales brewery and tasting room located at 4202 Sorrento Valley Blvd.

Bottles will be available for pickup a few days before Comic-Con starting on Wednesday, July 20, from 12 pm-6 pm.
