Allagash offering $1 beer packs for medical professionals and first responders at curbside pickup.

As a small way of giving back to the medical professionals and first responders working day-in and day-out during the COVID-19 pandemic, Allagash Brewing Company is holding a week-long, beer-filled “thank you.” From April 27 to May 3, anyone with a medical ID can pick up a care package of Allagash beer for $1. Allagash will donate 100% of those proceeds to charity. The special offer is available via Allagash on the Fly curbside pickup directly at Allagash.

"We'd love to give this beer away for free, and would be if we could have found any way to do so," said Jill Perry, Allagash Senior Manager of Retail Operations. "But due to state law, we have to 'sell' it, which is why we chose $1— all of which we will be donating to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital."

“We know this is a drop in the bucket" said Allagash Founder Rob Tod. "But if we can give back in some small way to our local medical professionals and first responders, we’re happy to do it.”

Allagash asks that all guests respect proper social distancing procedures on their visit to the brewery. To abide by Maine's current guidelines, they also ask that all out-of-state visitors stay home at this time. Allagash appreciates your incredible efforts, and can't wait to welcome you in the future.

Gift recipients included in "Medical Professionals" and "First Responders" include anyone working on the front lines of COVID-19 in a medical setting, as well as EMTs, Firefighters, and Police Officers.
