OktoBEERfest will feature a stein special, the release of Festbier, German-style bites & more.

To kick off one of the most awaited seasons for beer fanatics, Catawba Brewing Co. will host OktoBEERfest on Aug. 23 from 5-11 p.m. The event will bring Germany to Charlotte with a stein special, Catawba’s Festbier release, and German-style bites from the Strudelteig Food Truck.

Festbier German-Style Lager Returns:

Festbier (5.3 percent ABV), an authentic German-style lager, makes its triumphant return just in time to honor another fall festival – the world’s original beer fest.
