11/15/2019 -- Catawba Brewing Releases Honey Combed Honey Nut Breakfast Stout

Catawba's new Limited Release dessert stout debuts in tasting rooms and 5-state distribution.

This decadent, silky-sweet dark ale features a virtual buffet of brunch-worthy specialty ingredients, including wildflower honey, toasted hazelnuts, and milk sugar. It was then blended with cold-brewed Arabica coffee to complete this well rounded ensemble. A Small Batch version of Honey Combed first appeared in Catawba tasting rooms last spring, and proved to be among the brewery's most popular experimental releases of 2019. The beer has since been elevated to Catawba Limited Release status for the fall-winter season, as it makes its debut in cans.
