Green Bench Brewing on Foeder For Thought

Green Bench Brewing Company will be hosting their 6th Annual Foeder for Thought event for Tampa Bay Beer Week which is a celebration of fermentation, highlighting the uniqueness of oak, wood and foeder fermented beers and ciders on March 8th, from 6-11pm. This is an educational event with panel discussions lead by Michael Kiser, founder of Good Beer Hunting, a probing voice in the world of craft beer. Featuring 40+ breweries from all of the country.

Foeder for Thought examines the intricacies and surrounding questions of this complex and developing style, furthering the knowledge for both the customer, and industry participants. Green Bench Brewing will close down the street to ticket holders, utilizing the space to accommodate event goers. This will be the first year where the second tasting room, which has been under construction, will be open to the public. “This event is the culmination of what we do here at Green Bench. It is essentially a stage for which to display all of our passion projects and we do so while drinking complex, hard to find beverages. We love for the educational experience to be paired with a glass in our hand while surrounded by open conversation with like minded folks in, and outside of the industry.” Commented Khristopher Johnson, co-owner and founder of Green Bench Brewing.

In years past, Foeder for Thought has welcomed upwards of 400 people, creating an intimate festival environment. With special releases, timed tappings, and ready access to brewers, this has become one of the most sought out events taking place during Tampa Bay Beer Week. Event goers will receive a commemorative glass, unlimited pours, access to panel discussions and the opportunity to interact with those involved behind the scenes.
