9/29/2018 -- KnottyBits Bottle Release

Join us Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. for the release of KnottyBits–a wild ale aged on cherries and rhubarb.

We’re kicking off our ‘Wooden … it be nice!’ wild beer program with the release of 2,000 (375ml) bottles of KnottyBits – a wild ale aged on sweet and sour cherries, and rhubarb – at our Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen on Saturday, September 29 at 11 a.m.

Clocking in at 8.2% ABV, KnottyBits was wood-aged for a year with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, and then racked onto several hundred pounds of sweet and sour cherries, and locally-sourced rhubarb we got from our good friends at Fifer Orchards. That’s more than 2 lbs. of fresh fruit per gallon!

Bottle-conditioned for an elevated carbonation that resembles a rose-colored sparkling wine, this beer is a perfect balance of funk and acidity. Hand-bottled – cork and cage style – and hand-painted with a special stripe signifying its uniquely-crafted touch, KnottyBits is priced at $10 per bottle.
