Catawba Brewing debuts new seasonal beer, Evening Joe Coffee Blonde, in 5-state distribution.

Our latest Limited Release represents a new trend in craft beer, the paradoxically pale-colored Coffee Blonde. Like the Cream Ale at its roots, the beer is light and crisp, endlessly drinkable. The recipe takes an unexpected left turn after fermentation, thanks to blending with coffee cold-brewed from choice Arabica coffee beans and chicory.

The coffee imparts delicious notes of roast and dark chocolate typically associated with Porters and Stouts, without detracting from the beer’s refreshing quality. Natural vanilla flavor and lactose sugar add a hint of sweet cream to top off this café au lait-inspired cold brew.
