Catawba Brewing presents a special double-release from North Carolina's oldest barrel program. Now available in 16oz cans for the first time. This is a tasting room-only release at Catawba's four NC locations: Asheville Biltmore Village, Asheville South Slope, Charlotte, Morganton.

Series No. 1: Barrel-Aged Scotch Ale (8.5% ABV)
Beer | Hooligan Scotch Ale, 2017 vintage, aged for six months
Barrels | Second-use oak barrels acquired from Kentucky bourbon and Canadian whiskey distilleries
Sensory | Toffee, molasses, vanilla, oak, bourbon

Series No. 3: Tequila Barrel-Aged DIPA (8.5% ABV)
Beer | Double India Pale Ale, aged for five months, with late additions of lime zest and blue agave
Barrels | Third-use oak barrels originally filled with red wine, then pink tequila
Sensory | Citrus hops, pine, sweet agave nectar, margarita, oak
