Ferndale, Michigan's First International Mead, Cider & Beer Festival!
It all started with a goal to raise money for local non-profits and charities. Brad and Kerri Dahlhofer, the founders of B. Nektar Meadery in Ferndale, MI, have been invited to participate in some of the most highly acclaimed beer festivals in the world. Over the years, they’ve made friends with some of the top rated brewers in the industry. So when brainstorming ideas to raise money for local charities, the Dahlhofers along with the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce decided to put on a world-class beer festival right here in Ferndale. For most of the breweries and meaderies in attendance, this will be their first time participating in a Michigan festival. And to make things really special, we’ve asked them to bring their best, most rare, one-off products that aren’t usually available in bars or stores. So, many of these beverages have never been available before in Michigan. So, this event is a great way to try something unique and rare.
If you want to try some of the most rare and exclusive items, be sure to purchase the VIP ticket. With the VIP ticket, you’ll get into the doors 1 hour earlier than the General Admission. It’s very possible that some of the most sought-after beverages could be gone before the end of the VIP session. Only 500 of these VIP tickets will be available.
But if VIP isn’t in your budget or you’re not sure you’re THAT much of a craft beverage drinker, the General Admission will still get you PLENTY of unique and delicious beverages.
And remember, all profits from the event will go to our local charities.
