Spigot Labs and Bruz Beers Team Up for the Second Annual Belgian Beer Fest in Denver

Denver, CO (date)-- Once again Bruz Beers and Spigot Labs are excited to present the Belgian Beer Fest on April 28th from 1-4 pm in the garden next to Bruz Beers at 67th & Pecos. Tickets are available for $48 at http://belgianbrewfest.com/. The festival will also include a variety of food trucks at the venue. The Fest brings Belgian-style craft brewers together to celebrate the art of handcrafting these beers. This year 12 breweries will be in attendance showcasing their best and sometimes most unusual brews:

Spigot Labs provides tracking technology through its RFID taste tracking system for the festival. This technology allows customers and breweries to track the beers being tasted and captures ratings and preferences. “This technology will revolutionize the way festivals and events gather useful information to maximize their marketing efforts. Instead of walking away with a stack of business cards, guests can simply tap their RFID-enabled glass and remember exactly what they tried,” says Scott Vitale, owner of Spigot Labs, “The information is available to the consumer so they can remember which beers they liked and have it transmitted instantly to their smart phone.” For the vendors, this technology allows them to understand which of their beers are most loved and how they stack up to similar styles from other breweries. This level of visibility into festival goers and their preferences is something brewers have never access to before, and enables them to really place a value on their attendance at these festivals.
