5/19/2018 -- Backyard Brewfest

The Backyard Brew Fest is a celebration of local beer and our community. May 19th from 12-4pm.

The First Annual Backyard Brew Fest is a celebration of our community and the amazing craft beer being produced right in the “backyards” of residents in the Western Chicago suburbs. Alter will be joined by many of our amazing neighboring suburban breweries to showcase a vibrant growing beer scene that often dwells in the shadow of Chicago.

To further highlight the community in which we craft our brews, we also seek to feature a non-profit organization in our own backyard. This year, our organization will be Little Friends, Inc. Just one building away, Little Friends empowers “children and adults with special challenges, and their families, to live, learn, work, and thrive in their communities.” All proceeds from the event will be donated to Little Friends to help support their work in making this community a better place.

It is our hope that this festival will become a rotating annual affair, and that each year a new brewery will pick up the torch and choose a cause or organization that is important to them.
