Charlotte’s favorite Oktoberfest celebration is back with even more Bavarian music!

OMB’s most award-winning seasonal brew, Mecktoberfest, is back in the more than 600 bars and restaurants in the Charlotte region with OMB on tap. Fall has officially arrived, and OMB’s 9th annual Mecktoberfest celebration is only a few weeks away.

Perennial crowd favorite, Holzhackern German Band, will play for all 3 days of the festival this year. Joining them on Friday and Sunday will be Mountain Top Polka Band, another high-energy German group. Audience dancing and sing-along participation is highly encouraged for both troops. Friday

In addition to Mecktoberfest, OMB’s year-round brews will be on tap throughout the celebration: Copper Altbier, Capt. Jack Pilsner, Hornet’s Nest Hefeweizen, and Southside Weiss Wheat Ale.

Food will include authentic German fare such as Pork Schnitzel, Currywurst, Spätzle, Knockwurst, pretzels and much more.

The event is free of charge and will occur on OMB’s expansive 8.5-acre grounds in Charlotte’s Lower South End (LoSo). With seating outdoors for over 1,000, there’s plenty of room for friends, families and dogs.
