EntreeENTER THE HOUSE OF FLYING BARRELS PARTY
Friday, October 6th 9pm
1235 Delaware Street – Denver
This is not your usual Melvin ninja rodeo gathering, this is the House of Flying Barrels Party. We have joined forces with our friends from Avery Brewing, Four Noses Brewing, and Firestone Walker Brewing as we raise cold hard cash and awareness for Water For People and The Chill Foundation. Not only will you be partying with the Melvin crew for two great causes but there will be free shuttle bus from the convention center to the House of Flying Barrels and back every 20 minutes.
You might ask yourself how does a NGO partnership fit into the world’s largest beer pyramid during the GABF? Jeremy Tofte, Co-Founder/Field Hoperative at Melvin Brewing puts it best, “water comes from the mountains where we like to snowboard, the snow runoff travels downhill and becomes drinking water. As brewers, we use that water to brew beer, and then we go snowboarding. Because we believe deeply in brewing and snowboarding which both depend on water and snow we want to give back to people who don’t have access to clean drinking water.”
Water For People’s vision is a world where every person has access to reliable and safe water and sanitation services. ?Water For People exists to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments throughout the world.
The Chill Foundation is a youth development program that partners with social service agencies, mental health agencies, foster care programs, juvenile justice programs, and schools to teach life skills and increase self-esteem. Each six-week program uses boardsports to help guide youth through life's challenges.
So, if you are looking to get weird, drink cold cans of Melvin beer, build the World’s largest beer can pyramid and give back then join us on Friday October 6th, at 9pm. First shuttle bus is leaving GABF at 8:45 and the last shuttle leaves at 10:15. We are welcoming circus performers, dancers and martial artists.
