Block party with Short Path Distillery and cellar raffle for charity.
It's time for another block party in the Fermentation District! In honor of the honey liquor release at Short Path Distillery, Night Shift Brewing will celebrate by raising funds to benefit The Honeybee Conservancy, an organization that does important work to educate about bees and prevent bee colony collapse. Please join us as we raffle off 24 bottles of 2015 Cezanne, as well as one bottle of 2013 Elixir, our first ever Barrel Society release. For more information about the raffle, please see below.
We'll be joined by Taproom favorites Dan & The Wildfire, and our friends at The Galley Ice Cream, who will bring their honeyed ice cream flavors. Daddy's Bonetown Burgers will have delicious grub for hungry bellies, and Formaggio Kitchen will send us some special cheese plates with honey.
***Raffle Details***
Tickets are available in the Taproom on this night only, from 5pm - 8pm. Winners will be announced at 8pm. Winners may pick up their bottles until 6pm on Sunday night. Best of luck!
2013 Elixir, 1 bottle: This is one of only two bottles left in our cellar! This wheat wine-style ale was brewed with honey and aged in brandy barrels for warm, luscious flavors of caramel, maple syrup, and rich honey. Find out what three years in the cellar has done for the first Barrel Society beer we ever released! $2 per ticket, one free ticket when you buy ten.
2015 Cezanne, 24 bottles: Brewed with local wildflower honey and aged with brettanomyces in sauvignon blanc barrels, Cezanne pours a vivid gold in color, with bright citrus and honey aromas, and soft flavors of pear, white grape, and sweet vanilla. The finish is dry, its high ABV well-masked by hints of brett and lightly toasted oak. A great summer sipper, whether it's this summer or one in the future. $1 per ticket, one ticket free when you buy ten.
