SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ., March 31, 2016- Papago Brewing announced its throwing a big 15th anniversary beer festival, featuring breweries from around the world, food trucks, yard games, beer floats with Orange Blossom ice cream from Fatty Daddy’s and music on Sat. April 9, from 1-6 p.m.
The event will be held at Papago Brewing outside in the plaza located at 7107 E. McDowell Road, proceeds from the event will be donated to Rusty’s Angels Sanctuary, a non-profit organization that specializes in caring for senior and special needs dogs. General admission tickets are $37.92, which includes 20 drink tickets (4-ounce), and entry at 1p.m. V.I.P. tickets are $48.50, which includes 20 drink tickets (4-ounce), entry at 12 p.m., and a free Papago T-shirt (while supplies last). Ron Kloth, the President of Papago Brewing Company commented that, “The previous 5 and 10 year Anniversary parties we held were great and this one should be also and a lot of fun for everyone who wants to come out and enjoy some good beer with good friends with great weather.”
Attendees can expect guest breweries will be pouring many limited and special release beers, including the last keg of Papago’s collaboration beer with Scottsdale’s Fate Brewing, the Orangedale Sour Ale, which is a tart twist on Papago’s popular Orange Blossom Ale, and features local citrus. Just a small sneak peek of the beer list: Oskar Blues Droppin’ Beets Saison and Goof Juice, Left Hand Ambidextrous Ale #8, SunUp White Russian Imperial Stout, Sierra Nevada’s Barrel Aged Maillard’s Odyssey and Audition Double IPA, and Goose Island Four Star Pilsner.
Some of the other guest Breweries attending include: Big Sky, Avery, Lagunitas, Green Flash, Lost Coast, Ballast Point, Ska, Bell’s, Upslope, Stone, Founders, plus local favorites from around the state of Arizona.Tickets are still available for this event, and Papago Brewing expects about 1,000 attendees.
