12/17/2016 -- Oro de Calabaza Grand Reserve Release

Bottle release of 2 blends of Oro de Calabaza Grand Reserve at all 4 pub locations.

December 17th we are releasing not one but TWO blends of Oro de Calabaza Grand Reserve. These blends will be available at Null, Jolly Pumpkin Cafe & Brewery, Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery Detroit and Jolly Pumpkin - Old Mission Peninsula (Traverse City) at each location's respective opening times. Bottles will be $13.99 each with no limit

Blend 1 was packaged on 2/9/16 as is comprised of 2 batches aged in oak barrels for 25 and 30 months.
Blend 2 was packaged on 2/22/16 as is comprised of 3 batches aged in oak barrels for 22, 23 and 25 months.
Both blends have been bottle conditioning since their packaging date.

Oro de Calabaza is brewed in the Franco-Belgian tradition of strong golden ales. Spicy and peppery with a gentle hop bouquet and beguiling influence of wild yeast. A constant in the Jolly Pumpkin line up since 2004, Oro de Calabaza has won a gold medal at GABF and is rated a 98 on Ratebeer.
