16 local breweries chose a secret ingredient to debut a brand new beer. Only one will be Hop Chef

Drake’s Brewing Company presents the first ever Hop Chef- Champion Brewer Competition. We’ve invited fifteen craft breweries to join us is brewing a beer using a randomly selected ingredient- everything from ginger to juniper berries. All of the tastiest, never before seen beers will be debuted on Saturday April 16th from 2 to 5 pm at Drake’s Dealership, Oakland. Brewers will be on hand to talk up their beers, bitch about their drawn ingredient, and persuade you to crown them Hop Chef Champion.

Pre-sale tickets are $25* and include a collectable Hop Chef glass, a punch card to taste all 16 brews, and 3 voting tokens to help our celebrity panel decide the winner. Categories include People's Choice, Judges' Favorite, Most Unique Creation and A For Effort. Winner of the People's Choice Award will win the coveted 2016 Hop Chef Champion Brewery Mash Paddle! We’ll have a D.J. playing tunes, and food stands and trucks on hand to help feed the masses.
