Spring Brunch at Mavericks showcases live music, ocean views, beer-cocktails and a seasonal menu.

Over the years, the Brewing Company has had the honor of partnering with various local farmers, cheesemakers and wine-makers, and in 2013 began honoring these local purveyors by hosting quarterly seasonal feasts that feature the best of their bounty. This spring’s showcase is the three-course Spring Brunch at Mavericks, held at the Mavericks Event Center and featuring farm fresh local eggs, strawberries, asparagus and artichokes alongside refreshing beer-cocktails using house-brewed beer. The Spring Brunch includes live music and unmatched ocean views from the venue’s expansive waterfront desk. Local author P.H. Chow will be in attendance signing copies of her new book entitledCoffee & Dessert on The Coastside.

Shaved Asparagus Salad with baby mixed greens, lemon vinaigrette and pine nuts
served with house-made beer mustard deviled eggs

House-made Chicken Apple Sausage and Spring Vegetable Quiche
with spring peas, garlic and artichokes

Fresh Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie a la Mode
with beer-vanilla ice cream

The Spring Brunch at Mavericks takes place on Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Mavericks Event Center (107 Broadway, Half Moon Bay).
