Good ol' fashion hog roast with four kinds of hog. Larger-than-life hog expert Carl Blake will roasting his hogs in the beer garden at Backpocket.

Carl Blake of Rustik Rooster Farms will be roasting four different kinds of hogs in the beer garden at Backpocket Brewery on Saturday, June 27th from noon until 8:00.

Carl is almost a folk hero when it comes to hot roasts not only because of his skill but because he's larger than life (there aren't too many people who have been on the Colbert Report wearing overalls). Carl will be roasting his famous Iowa Swabian Hall hog as well as Red Wattle, Mulefoot, and Iowa Black Beauty.

The price is $12 per plate ($10 if you want the meat only).
