Job Overview:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the successful implementation of our draft beer and soda systems / service solutions. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and enjoys building long-term relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and prospect new customers in the hospitality industry, including bars, restaurants, breweries, and entertainment venues.
  • Customer Consultations: Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations on draft beer system and soda installations and services tailored to customer needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Present our products and services in a compelling way, addressing customer pain points and demonstrating value.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our draft beer systems, soda dispensing solutions, and related equipment.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare and present quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Post-Sale Support: Ensure a smooth handoff to the installation and service teams and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to stay competitive in the market.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and pipeline status to management.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the restaurant equipment, or beverage industries. Experience selling equipment or service-based solutions is a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of draft beer systems and soda equipment is ideal, or a willingness to learn the technical aspects of the products.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Customer-Focused: Ability to develop long-lasting relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly and effectively.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be proactive in finding new business opportunities.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory. Company vehicle provided.
  • Flexibility: Occasional evening and weekend work required to attend industry events, trade shows, or meet with clients.
  • 3-5+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • “Hunter” Sales mentality
  • Beverage industry experience.
  • CRM experience.
