New Hampshire / Maine Sales Representative
Stoneface Brewing Company is seeking an enthusiastic sales market representative to help grow the brand in the NH & ME market. The ideal candidate is a personable, craft beer fan, with a killer work ethic who is based in seacoast New Hampshire, or on the NH/ME border.
Responsibilities / Duties include, but are not limited to:
· GROW THE BUSINESS:
o Optimize and maintain current accounts; seek and obtain new
o Retailer Relations: develop rapport with designated key accounts
o Wholesaler Relations: develop professional relationships with relevant merchandisers & sales representatives
· SALES EXECUTION & QUALITY STANDARDS:
o Sell & allocate draft & package placements to key accounts
o Conduct quality checks and monitor product freshness at retail
o Assess and report market feedback on brands, pricing, POS/merch, placements, etc.
o Conduct samplings, events, merchandising, POS/merch execution, pricing surveys, freshness surveys, market recon, and field marketing initiatives, etc.
· EVENT COORDINATION, SUPPORT, & EXECUTION:
o Coordinate, execute, represent, and report on consumer events, including tap takeovers, beer dinners, pint nights, promotions, samplings, fests, collaborations, etc.
o Maintain and organize a sales & marketing event calendar
o Facilitate wholesaler and retailer guest visitation at the brewery, as necessary
§ Communicate Tasting Room visitation needs to internal stakeholders
§ Host brewery tours, as needed, for VIP guests
· SALES ADMINISTRATION:
o Plan and optimize designated travel activities and routes
o Track, summarize, and report activities, goals, data, market feedback, and other pertinent territory records
o Work with Sales & Marketing Coordinator for festival registrations and recordkeeping
o Record mileage, expenses, samples, POS
Skills, Abilities, & Requirements: Organization, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work autonomously are necessary to successfully perform this role
· Age 21+
· Based in seacoast New Hampshire (or on the NH/ME border)
· Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the time
· Willingness and ability to work unconventional hours, including nights and weekends
· Team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment, with the ability to work independently
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to be nimble and adapt
· Ability to take direction and ask questions
· Maintain composure and be calm under high pressure
· Active, direct, and continuous communication with management in the Sales, Marketing, and Tasting Room departments
· Cicerone Beer Server Certification, or ability to earn within the first 6 mo. of employment
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; experience with KARMA a plus
* Base Salary of 35k+ with Quarterly Bonus Plan based on volume goals and management objectives*
This position reports to the Sales Manager.
