Lone Star Beverages is on the lookout for a passionate and collaborative Chain Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives with major chain accounts. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies that drive success for both our company and our represented suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Craft and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans, forecasting market conditions, defining objectives, and securing necessary resources.
- Performance Evaluation: Assess performance metrics, measure results, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Operational Excellence: Organize and streamline chain account activities, integrating best practices across all operations.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with executive management of key chains to enhance value and collaboration.
- Business Planning: Lead the development of customer-specific business plans, analyzing market share and consumer trends to inform strategies.
- Sales Tactics: Guide the creation of fiscal objectives and marketing tactics to enhance market share and drive sales growth.
- Integration and Execution: Ensure alignment between supplier goals and state-level programming, overseeing the execution of customer promotions and pricing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with sales managers, conduct business reviews, and address service issues to support assigned accounts.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in sales and key account management within the consumer goods or direct store delivery sectors, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- Sales Management Expertise: Proven track record of successful sales management within wholesaler or supplier environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
- Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, along with strong customer analysis skills.
