Celebrate Oktoberfest with Atlas Brew Works

WHAT: Atlas Brew Works will celebrate its popular seasonal release Festbier, available now throughout the market, with three separate Oktoberfest-style events at its taproom locations from Thursday, September 19, through Saturday, September 21. Celebrate with $5 all-day Festbier pints, authentic Oompah band music, and more throughout the weekend in DC’s Navy Yard and Ivy City neighborhoods and in Alexandria, Virginia.

Oktoberfest at Atlas Navy Yard Brewery & Tap Room - Thursday, September 19

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Atlas Navy Yard on Thursday, September 19, and enjoy $5 Festbier pints throughout the day as well as live music from an Oompah band from 6pm to 8pm. Guests are invited to purchase a beer stein onsite to enjoy their beer in a festive way.

Oktoberfest at Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room - Friday, September 20

Enjoy $5 Festbier pints throughout the day at Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room on Friday, September 20. Listen to a traditional German oompah band from 6pm to 8pm, and enjoy authentic beer steins for purchase. Not interested in beer? Atlas’ newest taproom location also offers wine and mixed drinks for purchase.

Oktoberfest at Atlas Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room - Saturday, September 21

Close out Festbier weekend with a stop at the brewery’s flagship location, Atlas Ivy City, for $5 Festbier pints all day on Saturday, September 21. Pair the seasonal beer with food specials from The Burger Shop DMV.

With a 6.1% ABV, Atlas’ Festbier is both lighter in color and body than a traditional Oktoberfest beer. With an increased hop profile and sweet bread notes imparted from a blend of Munich, Vienna, and Pilsner malts, Festbier results in a more drinkable lager. The delightful orange blossom aromas are owed to a combination of German and American hops.
