Brewbound is pleased to announce that video playback from Brew Talks Connecticut is now available.
The business and networking meetup, which took place at Two Roads Brewing on Tuesday, Nov. 18, featured two engaging conversations with Connecticut-based beer industry experts.
In the first talk of the evening, Brewbound editor Chris Furnari and Two Roads founder Brad Hittle examined an array of top-of-mind issues. In addition to providing an update on the Two Roads business — including new distribution and continued investment in brewery expansion projects – Hittle shared his thoughts on the Connecticut beer scene, the emergence of private equity in craft and nationwide style trends.
The night also featured a 1-on-1 interview with Mark Mattei, the vice president of sales for Star Distributors. Mattei provided a glimpse into his organization, which now includes products from 25 different craft beer suppliers, and also explained the qualities he looks for in prospective craft brands.
Brew Talks Connecticut marked Brewbound’s final stop of the year. In 2014, we traveled to 10 cities and raised $7,000 for various non-profit organizations around the country.

About Brew Talks
Since hosting our first event in the basement of a craft beer bar in Boston in 2013, the meetup series has developed into a multi-city tour where beer industry professionals can come together inside of some of the country’s most recognizable craft breweries and share business insights with one another. In less than two years, we’ve hosted 18 meetups, in 14 U.S. cities, and connected with hundreds of individuals from all tiers of the industry. The events are also broadcast globally via a free live stream.
Brew Talks Connecticut was sponsored by: Owens-Illinois, Siemens, G&D Chillers, CFT Packaging USA, P.E. Labellers, and Rehrig Pacific Company.
