Brewbound today announced its speaker lineup for the upcoming Brew Talks meetup, taking place May 1, in Nashville, Tennessee, during the 35th edition of the Craft Brewers Conference.
The industry-only event, presented by Dogfish Head, will feature two thought-provoking panel discussions on the state of beer marketing and retailing.
Joining the marketing panel is a trio of craft beer industry experts, including Neal Stewart, the vice president of marketing for Dogfish Head Companies; Natalie Gershon, the vice president of marketing at Boulevard Brewing Company; and Trillium Brewing co-founder Jean-Claude Tetreault.
Together, the group will explore marketing investment strategies, opportunities for engaging new beer consumers and balancing authenticity with a desire to capitalize on emerging trends.
A second retail-focused panel will feature Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione; Brooklyn Brewery vice president of sales and marketing Dave Duffy; Charles Slezak, the senior category manager for beer and wine at Lowes Foods; and Dave Williams, the director of analytics for The BWC Company.
That group will examine how the retail environment for craft beer is evolving while discussing direct-to-consumer and e-commerce opportunities, growing competition within existing off-premise retail sales channels and continued challenges to building brands on-premise.
Brew Talks CBC will give brewers, distributors, and retailers who are already attending the Brewers Association’s annual conference an opportunity to come together and take part in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry.
As the exclusive brewery partner, Dogfish Head will serve a selection of its brews, including Liquid Truth Serum IPA. In addition to receiving two drink tickets, attendees will be able to snack on various appetizers throughout the evening.
Beer industry professionals are invited to take part in three hours of top-level business discussion and networking, beginning at 4:00 P.M., at Nashville Underground (105 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201).
Tickets are $25 for brewers, distributors and retailers and $199 for all other attendees. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild.
Brew Talks CBC 2018 is also sponsored by OrchestratedBEER, VicinityBrew, Thielmann, Athletic Event Supply, and EPR Properties
