Brewbound’s first Brew Talks meetup of the year is less than one week away, and the official agenda has been released.
Presented by Dogfish Head, the Brew Talks meetup will feature two thought-provoking panel discussions on marketing and retailing strategies for craft brewers.
Taking place at Nashville Underground (105 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201) between 4:00 and 7:30 PM CDT, Brew Talks will bring together brewers, distributors, retailers and other industry players for more than three hours of top-level business discussion and networking.

Here’s what’s on tap:
The evening’s first panel, starting at 4:30 PM CDT, will feature Dogfish Head vice president of marketing Neal Stewart, Boulevard vice president of marketing Natalie Gershon and Trillium Brewing co-founder Jean-Claude Tetreault.
Together, the group will explore marketing strategies aimed at expanding craft’s share of the beer market. Throughout the conversation, the trio will discuss the own-premise revolution, direct-to-consumer-engagement opportunities, as well as continued innovation and community-building strategies for established and emerging brands.
Then, at 5:45 PM CDT, Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione will join Brooklyn Brewery vice president of sales and marketing Dave Duffy, Lowes Foods senior category manager Charles Slezak, and Dave Williams, the director of analytics for The BWC Company, in a discussion on the evolving retail environment for craft.
As the evening’s featured presenters, the group will discuss emerging trends, the pricing environment for craft and the challenges of growing sales in a competitive environment.

Tickets to Brew Talks are $25 for brewers, distributors and retailers, and $199 for all other attendees. $25 from every ticket will be donated to the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild.
Brew Talks CBC will give industry members who are already attending the Brewers Association’s annual conference an opportunity to come together and take part in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry.
