Brewbound will travel to Austin, TX tomorrow to host Brew Talks, a traveling meetup series for beer industry professionals.
The event — which will be hosted at the world headquarters of popular entertainment website, The Chive – will feature two discussions on entrepreneurship and the business of beer.
So what’s on tap?
During Tuesday evening’s feature presentation, Austin-based food and beverage entrepreneur Clayton Christopher — who has helped launch companies like Sweet Leaf Tea, Deep Eddy Vodka and Rhythm Superfoods — will share lessons from his entrepreneurial journey and offer advice for brewers whose businesses are maturing. Throughout the talk, Clayton will discuss some of the challenges he’s faced when growing a new beverage brand and offer strategies for succeeding in a crowded marketplace.
Prior to Christopher’s presentation, Brewbound’s Dave Eisenberg will sit down with a trio of local industry members to discuss legislative issues specific to Texas-based craft brewers. Joining that discussion will be Jester King managing partner Ron Extract, Independence Brewing co-founder Amy Cartwright, and Charles Vallhonrat, the executive director of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild.
In addition to hosting conversations with beverage industry experts, which will begin at 6:00 P.M. local time, Brewbound will also be raising funds for The Chive’s non-profit organization, Chive Charities.
