Ready or not, crypto currency and NFTs are entering the beverage-alcohol space. How can you capitalize on these opportunities? And should you?
Brewbound’s first Brew Talks meetup event of 2022 will explore these topics on Monday, May 2, from 1-4 p.m. CT at Carew Atrium at the Twins Stadium, which is within walking distance of the 2022 Craft Brewers Conference in Minneapolis.
- Kurtis Cummings, founder and CEO of Switchyard Brewing, will share his Bloomington, Indiana-based craft brewery’s experience with accepting crypto payments in its taproom.
- Daniel Paul Wellendorf, co-owner and head of marketing for Modist Brewing, will also join the panel to discuss the Minneapolis craft brewery’s experience launching Hex Code, a Pineapple Coconut Marshmallow Lager, with a QR code on the label that offered an augmented reality experience and an NFT of the label art.
Additional speakers for Brew Talks Minneapolis 2022 will be revealed next week.
Brewbound’s Brew Talks 2022 meetup series is presented by Dogfish Head and Lilypad. Industry leaders will meet for an afternoon session of networking, beers and high-level conversations.
