The 2017 Summer Brewbound Session will be live from the New York City’s Metropolitan West at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, but hundreds of attendees will get the networking started early during the official welcome reception on Wednesday, June 14.
Hosted at the Anheuser-Busch commercial strategy office in Chelsea (125 W 24th St, New York, NY 10011), the welcome reception – taking place at 6:00 PM — will give Brewbound Session attendees their first chance to network with the top entrepreneurs and executives from across all three tiers of the beer industry.
A selection of appetizers will be served and various offerings from Anheuser-Busch InBev’s “The High End” brands will also be poured. A special session IPA – made in collaboration with Brewbound — will also be tapped.
Please note: The welcome reception is ONLY OPEN to registered attendees of the Brewbound Session and an RSVP is required.
In addition to the welcome reception on Wednesday night, Brewbound Session guests will have a chance to keep the conversation going at a tap takeover event, hosted by conference sponsor Craft Brew Alliance, following the conclusion of the conference on Thursday.
CBA is inviting all attendees to imbibe and socialize at the Beer Authority (300 W 40th St. New York, NY 10018) at 6:00 PM. The event will feature beers from the following past Startup Brewery Challenge participants: Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB) from Boone, NC, Wynwood Brewing Co. from Miami, FL, and Braven Brewing Co. from Brooklyn, NY.
Can’t make it to NYC? Brewbound will once again offer a free live stream of the conference and a chance for viewers to join the conversation by submitting questions to speakers and panelists, via Twitter, using the hashtag #bbsession.
Brewbound Session Summer 2017 will also include the return of the “Livestream Lounge,” a talk show-style program that airs during networking and lunch breaks. Tune in to see interviews with Brewbound Session attendees, including Srini Kumar, the CEO of CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries; Sam Cappione, the new vice president and GM of Speakeasy Ales & Lagers as well as other founders and executives from Great Lakes Brewing, Atwater Brewery, Shmaltz Brewing and more!
Featuring thought-provoking conversations with craft brewery founders, interactive panel discussions with leading U.S. retailers, and engaging presentations from a wide-range of industry professionals, this year’s Brewbound Session program will discuss the past, present and future of an ever-changing beer landscape.
Hundreds of brewery entrepreneurs, distributors, retailers and investors are already registered to attend the full-day event.
