In preparation for Thursday’s Brewbound Session in Boston, we’re pleased to announce that Andrew Teman, the co-founder of Heart, a Boston-based creative agency, will offer a unique presentation on marketing and advertising strategies for craft brewers at various stages of development.
Drawing on 15 years of experience in web-based marketing as well as digital brand and social media strategy, including executive roles with The Boston Beer Company and Hill Holliday, Teman will offer a simple marketing framework designed to help brewers of scaling size prioritize their communications channels, build their brands and maximize their growth potential.
His presentation will include key insights on how brand and package development, distinctive content and publicity are critical, yet often overlooked, elements of messaging and how it is perceived by consumers.
Eying the broad spectrum of consumer marketing mediums, Teman will also discuss how craft brewers would be better served utilizing social media as an execution channel rather than a primary communication strategy, and why breweries looking to scale should consider the use of traditional forms of advertising, such as outdoor print and TV.
Following his presentation, Teman will take part in a moderated question-and-answer session with Brewbound Session attendees.
