Brewbound is pleased to welcome Phil Jamison, the executive vice president of Golden Road Brewing, to the Dec. 5 Brewbound Session in San Diego.
Jamison, a former Anheuser-Busch InBev director of sales and, more recently, the vice president of distributing company Ace Beverage, will share his strategy for designing retailer sales programs that capitalize on craft beer’s strengths and drive healthy profit margins in all three tiers of the beer industry.
Drawing on his experience of executing successful sales and marketing plans for both Anheuser-Busch and Ace Beverage, Jamison will lend his thoughts on building a sales organization for a brewery and explain how craft brewers can motivate their current sales and marketing divisions behind a unified message. Jamison will also discuss strategies for how craft brewers can improve communications within their route-to-market infrastructure to provide distributors and retailers the sales and marketing support needed to grow a craft brands in a competitive marketplace.
The Brewbound Session, which will be held at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa, is a full-day conference for beer industry professionals. The event focuses on the strategic marketing, brand building and business development issues that most directly impact craft brewers. A variety of distribution, retail, investment and branding discussions are offered.

About Phil Jamison
Phil Jamison is currently the executive vice president of sales and marketing for Golden Road Brewing and has over 20 years of experience working with highly prominent consumer brands. Prior to joining Golden Road, Jamison was the vice president of Ace Beverage, one of Southern California’s largest beer distributors.
Jamison previously worked with three Fortune 500 companies, including Anheuser-Busch InBev, Mattel and Hasbro. In 2000, Jamison co-founded Howling Coyote Inc., an investment company specializing in franchise development. As the president of the firm, Jamison formulated annual business and strategic plans and helped to launch four businesses, each with 50 employees. In 2003, Jamison sold his interest to his business partner.
Jamison earned his MBA from the University of Redlands in 1997.
